“The work of survival of the human being is a work that is at the individual and personal level of each of us. We must dare to create the future by turning to the rites of passage of the ancients; we must learn to glorify the Gods of the ancients and rebuild temples for them. We must reinstall libraries such as those in Thebes, Abydos, and Alexandria… Thus, it will establish a good system of transmission of knowledge and wisdom. And only after the realization of the civilizational works will we be able to attract the respect and recognition of future generations and the Divine World”. - Neb Iritah Shenmira

I write this as a person raised with Western thought from the diaspora and as a person who has majorly contributed to the mission of modern religions. The modern world has never truly feared a revolutionary that one way or another has bent their knee to Abrahamic monotheistic religions, albeit they may have brought forth a principle of eradication, they’d come back to a master that imposed themselves through colonization and destructive expansion. The examples are countless throughout Christianity and Catholicism.

Many would like to believe that Christianity started in Africa, pertaining to the Ethiopians, but one must ask oneself, how come no one speaks about the traditional practices that existed thousands of years prior to Christianity? “Ethiopia was never colonized”, they would say, and I am here to say they didn’t need it; they quickly surrendered their practices, and those who held on to the tradition were driven to the outskirts by their own countrymen.

The Islamic religion, although it promised to free the African people from the hands of Europeans, only brought forth its doctrine through the destruction of ancient temples, structures, and libraries that held artifacts, wisdom, and knowledge. Plagiarizing many concepts (ablutions, divination, praying methods, etc.) and occupying ancient lands, they too played a role in diminishing indigenous and traditional practices.

The current masters of media, which is the modern world's prophet, dictating and constructing the opinions and beliefs of the masses, are approximately governed by a small group of people connected to the Abrahamic religions. That revolution could only go so far before reaching the limit of facing the altar of a colonizer or raider.

For us in the diaspora who have eaten and drunk from their hands, we have witnessed their strategy and how it has dampened and darkened the eyes of the individual. From the medicinal approach, to the foods we eat, the educational system, music, non-profit organizations, our behaviors individually and societally have all been corrupted. We would like to desensitize ourselves to even thinking that the counseling and therapy we receive brings us help; however, even this industry is polluted. To think the strategy of corruption is in all arenas of Western thought, but somehow has not made its way into the “self-help” or “therapy” realm, only leaves us with wishful thinking. As if the poison stopped at the stomach and hadn’t made its way to the brain. Thus, conditioning the one in the diaspora with a shortsighted sense of progress only to find themselves dealing with problems that add to nothing. Even the attempts to reconnect to Ancestral ways through Egyptology are governed by the hands of the Westerner, whether they are a well-intended Black or the student who has dedicated money and time to join a movement with hopes of bringing them closer to tradition. A road that doesn’t lead to the destination will only bring a sense of progress, yet never an arrival. I am not writing this to point out all of the fallacies; it is only with humility and honesty to spark enough thought to question and propel curiosity.

If you have felt the chains, no matter where you have gone, it is only because this system has perfected the goal of corrupting the human being to think the solution can be provided in the very system built to bring destruction. A mango tree doesn’t bring forth apples, and a corrupted system can’t bring purity. There is one thing it has done, if at all, to the benefit of the human being, and that is to serve as a reminder that although it is a system, the true seeker who may not know where to turn or go, truly feels the sense that “something is wrong”.

The world in which our foods, medicine, education, and treatment of each other, and of nature, lead to our harmony and a favorable outcome to our existence has not died. It has been held in secrecy deep within the traditions of indigenous people. A light that has shown and is shining, Neb Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, has brought forth the ancient wisdom and knowledge with the permission of royalties and dignitaries to reclaim the dignity and Ancestral paths that were once prominent on Earth.

If you are sitting in the seat of “none of this makes sense”, it is because deep within you, there is a history older than modern religions and Western thought. It’s not just your thoughts; it is a call. It is a call to make what is crooked, straight, to make what has been torn down, rebuilt, and ultimately to reclaim the very essence of yourself by walking in the way that only makes sense with existence. A revolution can only truly occur within the self, and simultaneously becomes a light that shines for others to see.

What would purity look like in a corrupt system?

Will it not truly be despised and hated?

Even the one who bore the light of the ancients was met with ridicule, even from the blacks of the land of America. What revolutionary doesn’t experience the turmoil of modern thought?

Whoever possesses the understanding and will to take a step towards revolutionizing themselves, may your heart be opened to question the hands that have fed you physically, mentally, spiritually, and energetically. Contrary to popular belief, there is a way, and it is not a belief. A belief is a hopeful opinion. This is knowledge and truth, and whether hidden or ridiculed, it cannot be destroyed. A belief must constantly change to stay relevant, but knowledge is embedded throughout the fabric and foundations of existence. This Ancestral and Divine Knowledge has emerged once again to the seeker in the Diaspora, let it be known that the temples, libraries, and ancient ways are being rebuilt on this very land.

I only ask for you to humbly search your own heart and the call that has allowed you to question this system, and begin to build within yourself. Kebtah (Medu word for The Earth Center) has made a mission to share this preserved knowledge with the simple fact that any spirit on the cusp of being a part of a revolution would find a way to rebuild what has been torn.

Strength and courage to you all.
